Sea lions, marine iguanas, Sally Lightfoot crabs, boobies, frigatebirds and Darwin's finches are near-certain on any itinerary, and giant tortoises are close to guaranteed. The animals evolved without land predators, so encounters happen at a few feet rather than through a telephoto lens.
